Shazahn Padamsee – Life Story
Shazahn Padamsee is not a new girl to the film industry. Both her parents were in this were well related to Bollywood. Her father Alyque Padamsee was a well known ad and theatre personality whereas her mother Sharon Prabhakar was one of the famous pop singer. Although her parents are separated both of them still support her in her personal life as well as her career. Her mother herself has become the manager for Shazahn. Both of Shazahn's siblings Quasar Padamsee and Raell Padamsee dedicated themselves to theatre and they have started their own production units.

She has always been shy to come in front of the camera. She even claims that since childhood whenever she sees a camera she used to hide behind her father. She did her first acting performance in her father's play "Unspoken Dialogues" which was a hit and also brought appreciation for her performance.
She was initially into script writing as she liked writing articles very much. She also did some advertising as an intern under Ram Madhwani (creator of the film "Lets talk"). She also got some training as a copywriter. When all these things did not work she started auditioning for films to start her career as an actress.

Being from a family related to Bollywood it was not that difficult for her to get a roll. She debuted with the film Rocket Singh directed by Chak De fame Shimit Amin under Yash Raj Productions. She got appreciations for her performance in the film. She then turned to the South film industries. Her debut film in Tollywood will be Ram Charan's Orange and her debut film in Kollywood will be Kanimozhi both of which are releasing in 2010. Shazahn's next project in Bollywood is Dil Toh Bachcha Hai Ji which is set to release in 2011.
