Biography: Mandira Bedi was born in a Punjabi-speaking Bedi family based in Mumbai and completed her schooling from Cathedral & John Connon High School. Mandira started her television career with serial Shanti, after which she became quite famous. However, her silver screen debut happened with YashRaj’s Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. But failed to make a mark in bollywood similar to that of television. Mandira even hosted Set Max’s World Cup Cricket Extra Innings which got a lot of criticism for her costumes but eventually Mandira managed to become a household name and continues to host many televison shows.
Mandira married Bollywood Film Director, Raj Kaushal and has also acted in his movie 'Shaadi Ka Ladoo'.
